JOAQUIN AYALA

Joaquin born in Mexico City, the illusionist Joaquin Ayala, starts his magical career in 1976 and until today is been considered the best latin- Hispanic illusionist of all time. 

Lilia was born on November 24th, 1966 in Mexico city. She studied photography in Mexico city middle school as a workshop, and English as a second language at "instituto Mexico norteamericano" in Mexico city. Lilia also received a degree for organization and systems in high school "colegio de bachilleres", and a basic art course in home studies at "art instruction school" in Minnesota, usa. she studied modern dance at "universidad autonoma metropolitana" in Mexico city, and jazz dance at "jimo studio", mexico city... and also at Henry le tang, las Vegas, nv. usa. Lilia married with Joaquin Ayala on February 21st, 1986 at "la profesa" catholic church in Mexico city.

The daughter Nadia Ayala was born in Mexico city at the "hospital de mexico" on august 11th 1986.

Along his extensive career credits he is been performing at places like:

• The Grand Kagetsu Theater in Osaka Japan.
• Casino Estoril in Portugal (considered the biggest in Europe).
• The Sky City Theater in New Zealand.
• The Hunter Auditorium in Broadway.
• Estadio El Campin in Bogota Colombia.
• The Sports Palace and the Presidential House in Mexico City.

In 1992 Ayala & Lilia within Las Vegas based producer Dick Foster create and headline the show "Spellbound" in Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City.

Later on, the offer, then a 15 days contract in Las Vegas, turned out to be for 3 years.

In 1995 headline the TV Special for Univision "The Ayala's in Control". Then the NBC Network in United States invited them to star in the TV Special "World's Greatest Magic" from Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where Nadia (Ayala & Lilia's daughter) was the only child playing the most dangerous illusion: "THE SPEARS".

In 1997 Ayala & Lilia where invited again to be part of this Caesars Palace TV Special headlining it with their newest creation "Blades of Doom" appearing on TV worlwide.

In 1996 along with the director David Gravatt, Ayala conceptualized and headlined the show "Mystique" which traveled to Lake Tahoe , Atlantic City and New Zealand. This show is currently playing at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas under the new name of "Imagine".

• First Mexican -Hispanic illusionist that represented Latin-American at the world famous "Magic Olympics in Las Vegas".
• The International Magic Awards as The Best Magical show when he was featuring Spellbound in Las Vegas.

• "The Magic Lamp" award given by the Circulo Mexicano de Ilusionistas.
• "The Magic Lamp" award given by the Asociacion Latinoamericana de Artes Magicas of Southamerica.
• The only Latin Hispanic illusionist that headline in las Vegas for more that 3 years in a row.
• The only Hispanic artist that sign more autographs along his career (Guiness World of records) more than 2 million.
• His hands cast permantly in Bronze at the "Hall of Stars" in Mexico City.

Ayala & Lilia established the company "Magic By Ayala" where companies worldwide work with them as magical consultants, special effects supervisors, and designers. Also they been negotiating worldwide the copyrighted permission of special effects & illusions created by them.

Ayala & Lilia they are currently head ling the show "Spellbound starring AYALA" at Harrah's Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
